NestFresh, Denver, Colo., announced the addition of a hard cooked egg facility in Chambersburg, Pa. This expansion is a strategic move to appeal to the growing number of consumers seeking eggs produced with sustainability and humane treatment.
The new 10,000-square-foot facility cooks, peels and packs over a quarter million eggs per week for both retail and foodservice channels.
“This new plant is not only a true innovation, but it also helps us to further demonstrate our commitment to the core values of NestFresh while allowing us to add convenience in a new variety of the category,” says Brandy Gamoning, marketing manager. “Now, we can supply the retailers and foodservice operators that have trusted our product for the highest standards possible with the very best we have to offer in the hard cooked egg category. This addition to our nationwide network is a great way for us to continue to offer innovative products made with integrity.”
