Reser’s Fine Foods, Beaverton, Ore., showcased newly formulated salads, sides and dips made without high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or flavors.
“Our premium brand of dips just got even better,” says Brenda Killingsworth, retail trade manager for Reser’s. “We listened to consumers’ request for cleaner labels and removed the high-fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors and colors. We added a brand new flavor with our Pimento & Sharp Cheddar dip, and we completely redesigned the packaging to provide retailers with stacking ease and consumers with dipping ease.”
New to the Stonemill Kitchens brand is Pimento & Sharp Cheddar cheese.
“For our Sensational Sides product line, we have added two new products featuring Hatch Green Chiles and have a new deli-friendly sleeve design. This fall, we will remove artificial colors and flavors, margarine and partially hydrogenated oils from our side dish recipes,” adds Killingsworth.
New Sensational Sides entail Hatch Green Chile Macaroni & Cheese and Hatch Green Chile Mashed Potatoes.
And, new to its lineup of behind-the-glass deli salads are:
Mango and Tomato, which consists of sweet mango chunks and fresh diced Roma tomatoes garnished with red onions and cilantro, tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Albacore Tuna Salad, which entails pole and line-caught sustainable tuna.
And, Garden Herb Potato Salad contains four different herbs and a tarragon vinaigrette dressing.
