Ben & Jerry’s, Burlington, Vt., expanded its offerings with Pint Slices—a round, single-serving of chunks and swirls, enrobed in a decadent chocolatey coating.
“We know our fans love our pint flavors, they love our big chunks, and 82% of our fans already enjoy novelties,” says Dave Stever, chief marketing officer. “Now, we want them to enjoy ours. After years of exploring and refining new equipment, we finally figured it out.”
Pint Slices are made with Fairtrade-certified, non-GMO-sourced ingredients, and are wrapped in a specially-designed “easy open” pouch.
They come in Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Vanilla Peanut Butter Cup and Americone Dream in 3-count boxes, and can be found in the frozen novelty section of grocers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $4.99. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pint Slices will also be sold individually in convenience stores and Scoop Shops nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.99.
