Unique Foods Corp. (UPZS), Pittsburgh, Pa., acquired privately held Pizza Fusion Holdings Inc., Boca Raton, Fla.

Pizza Fusion is said to be the world's first restaurant chain to adopt organic restaurant certification, and operates franchised locations in the United States and Saudi Arabia.
