Canadian meats processor and bakery giant Maple Leaf Foods, Toronto, said it entered into a new, four-year (C)$800 million revolving credit facility with a syndicate of Canadian, U.S. and international institutions.

Gluten-free foods marketer Schar USA Inc., Lyndhurst, N.J., expects by early next year to build a 50,000-square-foot bakery in Gloucester County, N.J.

One of Mexico's largest food processors, Mexico City-based Grupo Bimbo, said it has started building a  wind farm large enough to generate 90 megawatts, enough power to supply 100 percent of the electric needs for 65 Bimbo facilities nationwide.
