Refrigerated Solutions Group (“RSG”), an industry leader in refrigerated equipment and service, recently announced several management promotions. Bob Stevens has been promoted to the Director of Dealer Sales, Craig Hammel has accepted the role of Director of Strategic Accounts, Kim McGee has been promoted to the Director of CX & Sales Support and Pam Williams has accepted the position of Director of Business Development & Project Management for RSG. All four will report directly to Dan Hinkle, Chief Commercial Officer for RSG. Stevens and Hammel will assume their new roles immediately while McGee and Williams will take on their new responsibilities August 17th.
Larger facility will also bring 225 new jobs to Salina, Kansas, and will continue to produce Tony's and Red Baron frozen pizzas.

The new facility will result in up to 225 new, full-time jobs by 2023 in Salina and include automated state-of-the-art pizza-production lines, shipping and receiving docks, and office space. The company already employs 1,125 people at its current 550,000-square-foot production facility and distribution center in Salina. Additional projects are planned for the Salina site over the next several years as Schwan’s plans for continued growth in the company’s pizza business, representing an investment of several hundred million dollars in total.

Dollar General announces the planned addition of three new DG Fresh facilities to support its strategic, multi-phased shift to self-distribution of frozen and refrigerated products such as dairy, deli and other perishable items. As Dollar General works to build the infrastructure to better support customers, the Company is investing in communities across the country and creating new career opportunities. As of May 2020, Dollar General was self-distributing to more than 9,000 stores from six DG Fresh cold storage facilities.
